Kevin Kinser is an Institute fellow and associate professor in the University at Albany’s School of Education. He studies nontraditional and alternative higher education, particularly the organization and administration of for-profit and virtual universities, and is co-leader of UAlbany's Cross-Border Education Research Team (C-Bert). He also is interested the various ways in which institutions of higher education choose to serve and support students. Kinser is the author of more than 30 articles, chapters, and scholarly reports, and regularly presents papers at conferences in the United States and abroad.
