Irene Lurie
Irene Lurie was professor of public administration and policy at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, University at Albany, for 32 years. She has written extensively on welfare policy and the implementation of welfare reforms in the United States and has testified before Congress on welfare reform. Lurie received her BA in Economics from Barnard College and her Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley.
