Michelle N. Meyer
Michelle N. Meyer has written on ethical and legal issues in stem cell research, research with human subjects, reproduction and genetics. Her current work concerns the purported federal constitutional “right to procreate,” and its implications for state regulation of assisted reproductive technologies. In addition to her Institute position, she is an academic fellow at the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics at Harvard Law School, and a faculty affiliate of the Union Graduate College–Mt. Sinai School of Medicine bioethics program. She earned a doctorate in religious studies from the University of Virginia, and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
