How Will New York Implement Health Reform?

Passing health-care reform legislation at the national level was one major hurdle. Implementing the reforms at the state and local levels will present others, as the speakers at this event pointed out. This question-and-answer session followed presentations by James Knickman, president and chief executive officer of the New York State Health Foundation; Joseph D. Morelle, chair of the state Assembly's Standing Committing on Insurance; and Robert Doar, commissioner of the New York City Human Resources Administration.
