Higher Education's Role in Economic Development

With Governor Cuomo and President Obama both calling higher education the “key driver” of the innovation economy, the Institute pulled together five experts from the University at Albany to talk about what universities can do to help New York State. President Philip introduced the panel, commenting on the State University of New York's strategic plan to use its universities to train a highly educated workforce and revitalize the state.
