New York State Education Department Commissioner Richard P. Mills to Speak at Rockefeller Institute Public Policy Forum on May 4

 

Albany, N.Y. — Richard P. Mills, commissioner of the New York State Education Department, will speak at a Rockefeller Institute of Government Public Policy Forum here on May 4.

Commissioner Mills’ topic will be: “Education in New York: Today and Tomorrow.” The forum will begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at noontime.

Mills was appointed by the Board of Regents as president of the University of the State of New York and commissioner of education in August 1995. He has announced he will step down at the end of June.
