Rockefeller Institute to Conduct Two Forums Next Week, Focusing on New York State’s Response to Medicaid Fraud, and on Charter Schools

June 8 Forum Will Feature New York State Medicaid Inspector General James G. Sheehan; June 10 Forum Will Feature National Charter Schools Expert Chester E. Finn, Jr.

Albany, N.Y. — The Rockefeller Institute of Government will hold two forums next week, discussing the integrity of Medicaid programs and charter schools.

New York State Medicaid Inspector General James G. Sheehan will speak at the first forum, on Monday, June 8. The forum, which will be held at the Institute’s main building at 411 State St., will begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at noon. His talk is entitled, “The Next Phase in Medicaid Program Integrity.”

The second forum, which be held at the same location on June 10, will feature three experts who will discuss charter schools. The speakers for the forum, entitled “This is Not Your Mom and Pop’s Charter School,” will be:

The charter schools forum will begin at 1 p.m. and end at 2:30 p.m.
