    Highlights

  • Voter registrations in New York State were almost 11.7 million in 2015, down from 11.8 million in 2014.
  • 7.1 million New Yorkers voted in the 2012 Presidential election, 605,235 less than in 2008.
  • In 2015, 49.6 percent of registered voters in New York State were enrolled as Democrats, 23.3 percent were enrolled as Republicans.
  • In the 2014 New York State gubernatorial election, Andrew Cuomo received 52.7 percent of the votes. Rob Astorino received 32.2 percent of the votes.
