University at Albany students—present your research for a chance to get published and win a cash prize.
The 2024 Future Leaders in Policy (FLIP) Competition gives University at Albany undergraduate and graduate students a chance to share their public policy research with New York State leaders, publish with the Rockefeller Institute of Government, and win a cash prize. Participants in this year’s UAlbany Showcase can submit applications and, if accepted, present their research to a panel of commentators from the New York State Legislature, Executive Chamber, and state agencies during the Showcase. Rockefeller Institute judges will select the winners and those students are invited to adapt their research and presentations for written publication by the Institute. Upon publication approval of their final research, researchers/teams are awarded a cash prize. The finalists’ presentations will be held April 30th at 9:15am as part of the UAlbany Showcase.
